Beautiful, classy, graceful, kind. These are just a few words to describe Billie. I cherish all the memories I have of her when we worked together in Odessa. She was such a wonderful example of a wife, mother, and friend. Rest peacefully, Billie. You made a positive impact on all the people you touched. Sharon Moya

The fifties was my favorite decade. Newly married and poor we became friends with Billie Jean and Harold- what fun we had--just the four of us - as we anxiously awaited our children. Those lean years we spent many nights watching mine and Glenn's new black and white tv, going to the Dixie Pig on Friday nights for fifty cent meatloaf and me and Billie Jean dressing to the nines for football games and going to church on Sundays always with our hats. Billie Jean and I working together at Citizens National Bank always dressed up in our High heel shoes and those double knit suits with and " oh how it hurts those playtex girdles--but we looked good especially my beautiful tall, statuesque friend. We pinched pennies to take those vacations to Galveston, Corpus and the Frio River and always seeing doctors and praying for our baby. After we adopted those babies, that was the pinnacle of our happiness as we stayed friends and had even more fun with them. The last time I saw Billie Jean in October, she Jumped up and said "Betty" and we reminisced and laughed about all those fun times we had and our dear husbands Glenn and Harold. Harold always said to Glenn " now let's just be frank and Earnest here. You be Frank and I'll be Earnest. Harold loved teasing me saying " Betty, you just need to be more compatible." The last time I saw Harold he knew me. As we walked up to him in gardens of his nursing home, Billie Jean asked him Harold, do you know who this is and he said " It looks like Glenn's wife"
My dear friend Billie Jean, no doubt, I'll be joining you all before too long and we will all be having great times together with our Lord and Savior, singing , Laughing and rejoicing for eternity. How cool is that

Billie was a real gift to everyone that had the honor of being her friend. Everyone that worked with her at The Regional Day School for the Deaf in Odessa Texas loved her. She was such a beautiful person. I know Billie and Harold are happy to be together again. Rest in peace and love.

Billie Jean will be greatly missed, but I can't help but rejoice when I think about the fact that she's finally reached her desired destination after such a sweet rewarding journey. In my eyes she was a gracious, beautiful, talented lady. She lit up the room with her smile & grace. My sincere condolences go out to Steve, Teresa & family as well as extended family and all who loved her. Peace, Love, Comfort and precious memories. Debi Moore
