On this Friday the 13th of July, our Beloved Daddy, Brother, Tio, and friend Charles Timothy Tim McLarty went to be with the Lord. Tim served in the U.S. Army from 1973-1979 with his active duty in Hanau Germany, a place he loved. After that he worked on many construction projects including many highways around Dallas and post Hurricane Katrina rebuilding and many more projects. Tim loved being outdoors, was an avid reader, blues music, motorcycles and spending time with family. He had an incredible mind and was a wonderful story teller.
Mr. McLarty was born April 17, 1954, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to George and Margie McLarty.
Mr. McLarty was preceded in death by both parents.
He leaves behind to mourn his precious memory daughter Amanda and husband Jordan Muzechenko of Rowlett, brothers Don McLarty, Mark Sadler and James Sadler, sisters Catherine DeLeon of Clebourne and Vicki and husband Charles Douglas of South Main, Texas. He leaves behind nephews Louis Castillo, Thomas Castillo Jr., Nicolas Castillo, Chris Boddie, Kyle Bolls and Donny Bolls and nieces Viviana Castillo, Stephanie Castillo, Bianca Castillo, Desiree DeLeon, Molly Gannon, Meredith Sealy and Britney Sykes, and longtime companion Patricia McLarty.
The family will receive guests at a memorial service at 10 a.m. on July 20,2018 at Abilene Funeral Home's Chapel of Hope. Graveside service to be held at 1 p.m. at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery At Abilene. The family will also welcome guests to join them for a luncheon at the Northwest Church of Christ located at 1141 Willis from 11 to 12.
