Dear Elaine, and cousins Jerry, Missy, and Mike...our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during your time of grief. May the peace of Christ be yours as you fondly reminisce on memories with Barry. I remember happy times with Uncle Barry as far back as my early childhood and throughout my adulthood. His warmth and love were so genuine. Every year (for many years) he would call me on my birthday! Though we lived far apart, it was always a joy talking with him on the phone. I will always remember his last words to me on the phone, "...thank you, sweetheart". In these recent years he always asked about my mom and how she was doing in our phone chats. He really cared for her, and she for him. Phil recalls passing through Reno before we were married, and he always speaks of the gracious hospitality and kindness of Uncle Barry on that initial meeting. We have been blessed to share memories together with Uncle Barry. We both send our love and condolences.
God's Peace be with you all,
Phil & Moira

To my Tone cousins . I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Barry was a wonderful person. I remember grandma Tone always enjoying her packages he would send(cartons of cigarettes with cash hidden in it). Only had the pleasure of visiting a couple times . He was so kind and thoughtful
Thinking of you all.

I first met Barry in 1972 when I began my law enforcement career with the Sparks Police Department. From day one I knew him to be a gentleman and a fine police officer. I have had the pleasure of working not only with Barry but with Jerry and Mike as well. I was retired before his grand kids got into the act but what a fantastic law enforcement legacy Barry has left behind! My deepest condolences to the entire family. God Bless.
