Dear Hanvey family;
I worked with slugger most of 30+ years. He was always friendly, eager to help others, and quite the conversationalist. I've worked many a 2nd and 3rd shift with him. Slugger and I enjoyed many a cup of coffee together on the Clopton & South Richmond jobs. I've sorely missed him since he retired and I'm saddened to hear of his passing. Slugger was truely one of the last & best of the old railroaders. You are in my prayers.
