Marjorie M. Smith, 82, of Henrico, formerly of Ashland, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. She was the daughter of the late James "Jim" Smith Sr. and Inie M. Smith and preceded in death by her sister, Jo Ann Weichseldorfer and brother, James "Jimmy" Henry Smith Jr.. She is survived by her son, David "Smitty" Smith (Sharon); nephews, Chris (Tammy), Michael, Bill and Tim(Laura) Weichseldorfer and Taylor Pippin, Jr.; nieces, Karen Toscheff (Nick), Mary Beth Weichseldorfer, and Bailey Pippin; great-nephews, Mathew and James Weichseldorfer; great-nieces, Kelly, Jo Ann, and Sara Weichseldorfer, and Maggie Toscheff. Marjorie retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles with 34 years of service. The family would like to thank Manor Care Health Services for their outstanding care during her illness. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11am at Signal Hill Memorial Park in Hanover, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Humane Society in her honor. Online condolences may be registered at www.nelsenashland.com.
