Ms. Connie V. Watts of South Chesterfield, VA, departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at home. Born in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of Marion Van Walker and Zorina Walker, she was a spiritual center for her family and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spiritual development, gardening and reading. 



She is survived by her daughter, Trina Allen; grandson, Elijah Allen; sisters, Dorcia Parham and Cheryl Turner; brothers, Marion Walker and Sterling Overton, beloved former spouse, Michael Watts;  several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.


Service for Ms. Connie V. Watts will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 20, 2018, Third Baptist Church, 550 Farmer Street, Petersburg, Va., the Rev. Leroy A. Cherry, Pastor and Rev. Alvin L. Hill, eulogist.  Interment will be held in private.

Floral arrangements may be sent to the funeral establishment or monetary donations in memory of Ms. Watts may be made to Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.
