MALLORY, JR. Wilbur Fleming, 93, of Richmond passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps, Eighth Air Force. He was a retired brick mason and a 75 year member of the Bricklayers Union No.1. Fleming was a member of Henrico Union Lodge No. 130 Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Meadowbridge Seventh-day Adventist Church. Fleming was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Wilbur Mallory, Sr., as well as his daughter-in-law, Susan Mallory. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis K. Mallory; his children Patricia Allen (Ralph), Wesley Mallory, Sr. (Sharon), Preston Mallory, Wendell Mallory (Deloria), Mickey Mallory (Tamara), and Paula Williams (Gene); 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, Va. 23231 where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the hospice organization of your choice or the American Cancer Society.
