Although I haven't spent time with Julie for over twenty years (I think the last time we spoke was at my sister Jennifer's wedding), I was deeply saddened to hear about her passing, and sorry we didn't know each other better. She's gone much too soon. I'm her first cousin (my mother Cecilia Bianco is Sophie Ferrari's sister). I was present at her wedding in Ridgeway at the Royal Hotel up on Bootjack Hill, I think! I will always remember her as a brilliant, beautiful, vivacious, and often hilarious young girl and woman who liked to make everyone feel comfortable and entertained. I will never forget her showing me and my sister Mary how to twirl a baton on Cardott Street in Ridgeway. Julie seemed to be light years ahead of everyone in beauty, talent and intelligence. I will always, always remember her singing, particularly, "I Don't Know How to Love Him," from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar at our Uncle Stan's house in Erie, PA and bringing a tear to Aunt Sophie's eye. I want to express my sincerest, warmest condolences to her husband, her son, and her immediate family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
