Jeannette K. Swenson 1923—2018
Jeannette K. Swenson, 95, of Rockford, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, in OSF St. Anthony Hospital. Born on New Year's Day 1923, in Rockford, the daughter of Andrew G. and Judith K. (Swanson) Swenson. She was a very special lady and will be greatly missed by her family, including her nieces, Linda (Dallas) Smith and Judy (Jack) Brauer, both of Machesney Park, IL; and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Eugene "Sonny" Swenson (1953); and sister, Florence Lindquist (2002). Special thanks to the staff of Alma Nelson for their 17 years of care.
Private graveside services will be held in Willwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. To share a memory or send an online condolence, visit olsonfh.com.

I remember Jeannette very well. Grew up on Westmoreland Ave. four houses away from her. She was a sweet lady, always seemed happy even with the problems she faced daily. God bless her.
