Egerer, Betty C. 8/7/1925 - 9/20/2020 Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She was 95 years old. Betty Catherine Ferchau was born on August 7, 1925, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Chester M. and Margaret (Girard) Ferchau. She married the love of her life, Warren Michael Egerer on June 29, 1946, at Holy Family; he preceded her in death on April 9, 2010. Betty was employed with Baker Perkins for 10 years and later with Swan Valley Community Schools for 20 years. Betty was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she volunteered in many of the parish activities. She was a member of the League of Catholic Women, St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary, East Side Soup Kitchen, VA Medical Center, and American Legion Post 439 Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Gary (Cindy) Egerer of Weaverville, North Carolina; two step-children: Kevin (Angela) Griffin and their son, Rory Griffin of Atlanta; Allison McLamb and her children, Molly and Jack McLamb of Weaverville; two brothers and one sister: Dale (Dorothy) Ferchau of Saginaw; Elaine (William) Miller of Florida; Keith (Pat) Ferchau of Saginaw. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and their spouses: Rodney (Elaine) Ferchau and Jack (Rose) Ferchau. A private funeral will be held at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny and Pastoral Minister Kathy Myles will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to American Hospice, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, or the American Cancer Society.

Betty was a beautiful person. Always with a smile. Will miss her at Holy Spirit. Worked funeral luncheons with her and she always had a smile and hello when i would see her at church Great lady she was a funny story teller

She was a very special Friends of MY Parents Lawrence and Harriette Morford . Betty did a lot stuff for our Comminty James Township !!! She will be Greatly Missed !
