1959 ~ 2016
A beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away January 21, 2016 in Salt Lake City, UT from cancer.
Samuel C. Aldridge, 56, was born August 18, 1959 in Salt Lake City, UT to Frank J. Aldridge and Mary E. Kelson Aldridge. He attended Kearns High School and Salt Lake Community College earning his Electrical Journeyman's license. He proudly worked on many structures such as Micron and the Kennecott conveyor. Sam's greatest joys were his sons Travis and Josh. He enjoyed watching them participate in their many sports activities and camping and fishing with them at his mountain property in the Uintas. Sam was blessed last year with a precious granddaughter, Olivia, who held his heart in so many ways.
Sam was a member of the LDS Church. He was a proud Union member of the IBEW Local 354 and a member of the Wasatch Mountain Man Association. An easy going man who left behind various pieces of art he crafted from wood and enjoyed making for others.
Preceded in death by his father Franklin J. and brother Robert. Sam is survived by his mother, Mary; sons Travis (Deanna) and Josh; granddaughter, Olivia; brother, Frank (Sharon); sisters, Connie (Jay) and Val and many nieces and nephews.

Dearest Sam,
I can't even say how much you are missed by myself, your Blondie and my children. You left an imprint on our lives that will last forever. We still speak of you with lots of love whenever memories of you come up in our conversations. I miss you so much and wish I could see you and talk with you once again. So until that time comes and we meet again always remember how much we love you. Hugs and kisses, Leigh Ann Gull

My Dearest Sam, I have so many wonderful memories of you. Of how we met and how much fun we had together over the years. How you was always a positive figure in my children's lives. You always cared so deeply for us and always wanted only the best for us. I wish we wouldn't have drifted apart over the last couple of years, but you moved to North Dakota. I am forever grateful that we did communicate via Facebook and phone calls though. It was not nearly enough. I will wish forever that we could have seen each other as planned on Christmas of 2014. You was silly though and couldn't find my Mom's house. You went to the wrong one. Just know that my love for you was true and that I'll always have it for you in my heart. Till we meet again, love you! Your forever friend Leigh Ann "Blondie" Gull
