On April 24, 2021, Heaven gained a beautiful soul, Elizabeth Ann Rios, who passed away at the early age of 60 after a brave battle with cancer.

She is survived by her parents, Frank and Esther Campos; husband, Michael A. Rios; her children, Lysette Rios, Nathan Rios and Lexis Rios; one brother, Frank D. Campos (Debbie); multiple brother and sister in-laws; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and subsequently acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwest Texas State University. Shortly after graduation, she began working at USAA where she proudly served for thirty-five (35) years before retiring in 2019. She worked very hard to provide for her family whom she considered her most precious gifts.

Elizabeth lived her life dedicated to her husband and children; she wanted nothing more than to see her children happy and did everything she could to create lasting memories. She showed her endless love for others through selfless acts and consideration. She loved traveling, swimming, dancing, cooking, reading (Danielle Steele), taking photos, and socializing with friends.

She found great joy in the holiday seasons, especially Christmas. She loved to decorate, prepare food, and select thoughtful gifts for all her loved ones. As a devout Catholic, she found peace in prayer at St. Matthews Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Helotes.

Elizabeth's absence will surely leave a void for all her family and friends; however, her legacy of love and generosity will remain in our hearts for years to come. We take great comfort in knowing that she is fully healed and in peace with our Heavenly Father.
