GOD'S BABY SHOES

GOD put on your baby shoes,
your first pair-at size Zero.
Clinging to your happy little feet,
as you eagerly ate,
while snugly secured to your towering highchair.
GOD'S shoes-flexed and contorted with your toes,
as you discovered the adventurous art,
of crawling about.
Later, our LORD's shoes accompanied you to your first annual checkup,
consoling you-after year one vaccinations.
GOD's shoes-cradled you firmly;
when you took your first baby-steps.
You see Bobby, HIS shoes supported and protected your precious little feet,
as you scurried and romped about;
your happy-happy house.
GOD made sure they stayed silently on guard; day-in and day-out,
while you peacefully napped;
Waiting to be properly relieved-
from your ever-growing and busy, busy feet.
GOD provided his best shoes - to provide you both comfort and room,
when curling your toes, on your first day of school.
Oh, how the LORD missed [HIS] beloved Baby Shoes.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Arceo Family.

I first met "Bobby" when he was four or five years old [1979-80]. I would go over Jesse's house to hang out and Bobby would always greet me with a hug. I recall some boxing gloves and how I dropped to a knee, and we sparred. Bobby loved those boxing sessions-I can still hear him giggling while we sparred. Fast-forward to 1989-1990; Jesse had a Family Reunion at his house, so my Wife and I attended. It was wonderful to see Mrs. Arceo and the entire Arceo Family. I vividly recollect how Bobby immediately offered my wife and I a refreshment upon arrival. A Special and Gentle Soul he was [here], and will always be: in the LOVE, LIGHT, WARMTH, JOY and PEACE of our Lord and Savior-AMEN.
