Its been many years since we worked together but I can still remember all the calls we made out in the old Seven section. Sid was always there to back you up and his dry humor always made you feel good about your Job as a police officer. He always had your back and was a great person. He will add to all the other great men in Heaven. God Bless Jack

I was very sad to hear of Sidney's passing. His family lived just down the street and I have good memories at home and at Mac Arthur Hibgh School. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May God comfort all of his family and friends in their loss.

We had great times on patrol and off duty. Tell Delores Hi when you see her.

I attended SAPD class 70 E with Sidney. We were very young at the time and enjoyed our class hours together. Our
Class, according to the PT trainers was by far the best to come thru the academy, mostly because Sidney, who was
our class president kept encouraging us. We listened to his advise because we knew of his prior police service. I
did not get an opportunity to work with Sid on patrol but San Antonio was a better city because of his service. May you Rest in Peace brother.

Joe Gonzales (Class of 70 E)
