Bill was certainly a person of great stature. I looked to him for support which he gave freely and unreservedly. I will miss our weekly chats during the NFL seasons (dating back to 1984, I think). But I will still root for teams playing against the Steelers and for the Dolphins. That is our relationship that will never end. God Bless you Bill, and know that you will never be forgotten.
Paul Slaboda and family.

My regrets for having missed Bill's services, I did not learn of his passing until recently. He was a leader and mentor for me, a very good man with the kindest heart. I was graced to have had him as Tech Director in the JEWC, his support and tutelage meant very much to me. My prayers are with the family, he will be missed immensely I am certain.

"A gentle touch and words of encouragement" - no better description of a man I owe so very much. Bill hired me into a civil service position when I left the Air Force. I remember so many projects I worked under his supervision and guidance. We had great times on the golf course - I think it was Bill who labeled me "stone hands" for my mediocre putting stroke, and his was silky smooth. Bill will always be remembered with the fondest thoughts.

I am very sad to hear the news. Bill was such a warm, caring man - a true gem. One of the best listeners I have ever met, a sign of a generous heart. Suzanne, Bill, Mike, and families - you are in my prayers.
