Carol and I were totally surprised and saddened with this news. We worked with Art on a number of projects over the years. It started when he was working with Alfredo who we both worked closely with. Then he designed our own house remodel which still gets rave reviews for his originality and vision. We also worked with him on a house for Barry near where you live now. When all that was done, we simply drifted apart ans lost contact. That is a sad commentary on life. One has to work at maintaining friendships and we failed to do that. That is our loss and we regret it.

I'm so glad I found these precious photos from the school Julie. They show what a creative, living, generous family you and Art made.

Julie, Sasha, Brei, and Emma,

You all have been like family for my whole life. I remember Art and my dad playing softball together when we just toddlers, Sasha. And then much later, Art taking the time to teach me architecture, when I interned under him. He was so gifted and patient... He had a true passion for his work.

Most of all, I remember how proud he was of all of his "girls".

I'd like to think he is now golfing with my dad in the sky...

Sending lots of love and support,
Michelle (McCartt) Madigan
