Charles 'Charlie' Brown

Charlie Brown peacefully passed away at his home of over 50 years in Santee on December 19th. He was born and grew up in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Charlie served in the Navy, and after being discharged became a Chiropractor and business owner with his wife, Norma. They had two children, Charles and Cathy, and a granddaughter, Kaylyn.Once retired, Charlie began coaching softball, first with his granddaughter, then went on to coach at West Hills and Santana High Schools. He is survived by his daughter and granddaughter. Charlie will be interred at Bethel Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, with his wife and son.
