Sweet aunt Elizabeth❤ In her honor we all went out for Baskin Robbins ice cream. I fondly remember her taking me and cousins out in Elmhurst to 31 Flavors and singing songs in the car and laughing.
Her laugh and smile were just the best! She had the sweetest soul. So grateful that my children were able to know her too.

Elizabeth & Eileen birthday celebration
I am so very sorry for the loss of Elizabeth. In fact, it is unfathomable to me. As the last grandchild in the Powers line from Celeste & John Powers & the last child of Warren & Eileen Fox she is the first to pass on. As a long distant cousin the impact of family & loss is there. I have two memories that are seared in my mind. Elizabeth (then known as Beth) a young girl sitting there so patiently on the steps during a large family gathering waiting & waiting. But, my favorite memory was a quick visit to CA and being able to see Eileen & Elizabeth. They were doing well. I know I have a good picture of the two of them. (I have spent over an hour looking for it to no avail. (But, if it turns up in a timely manner, I will add it later.) We had a task at hand & so we went to a neighbors to proceed & she shared how much she remembered my father's laughter & good spirit ( her uncle). Her taking the time to share this warmed my heart & meant the world to me. She knew this & that is why she brought it up. Maintianing laughter & support at all times are to me key factors in the Powers' line. I will forever lament that I was unable to follow through with supporting Elizabeth in the distance these last few years. She was granted so many blessings in this world to never be taken for granted. I feel a peace to know she is resting with her parents now. A life well lived the best one can is humbling.

Elizabeth knew how to care and love for her Mother and Father. Our dear sister added humor to all our hearts and spiced our lives with laughter! Elizabeth touched lives in so many ways. Our family will remember the many good times with Elizabeth and wish we could share many more.

Elizabeth was a loving, sweet younger sister. Growing up in Elmhurst, IL we as kids would take pleasure in the simplest things like raking leaves and then jumping in the pile or shoveling snow in the winter and then making a huge snowman or just running in the sprinklers in our bathing suits on a hot summer day.
My favorite memory is driving 19 hours to Ft Lauderdale, FL and playing on a raft in the pool with our dad, Warren. He would always make us laugh out loud and laughing is a Fox trait. Every time I laugh I will think of you Elizabeth.
