Fond memories of Mr. Schachter as my BPHS math teacher (class of 1965). He was a gem. Wish I had known we were Vista neighbors in later years. Blessings to his family.

I had Mr Schachter for math in high school, 1974-75. He was dynamic and will never forget he´d tell us how he got his name... he said when he was born, his parents looks at him and said "that´s all!" (Saul) and everyone would laugh. RIP Mr Schachter!

Mr. Schachter was the teacher who had the greatest positive impact on me growing up. He was my math teacher at Buena Park HS in the early 70s. He was not only a brilliant & effective math teacher to frequently unruly high school students, but he was also friendly, funny and relatable to all of his students - I think that's the essence of a great teacher & a caring individual.
My condolences to you for your loss of such an inspiring man. May his memory be a blessing.

My deepest and sincere condolences on losing a special person in your life. When on Earth, Jesus cured the sick, raised the dead, and rescued people in peril. He demonstrated what he will do in the future for obedient mankind. So we all look forward to the return of your dear love one. LR
