George was a fantastic person. He remembered all the details of your life even if you didn't see him very often. He would ask Ski and I about our jobs, talk about the Bears and Cubs, and tell stories about his brother Ben. We thoroughly enjoyed the times we had with him. Norman (Ski) and Sally Baranowski

Such a fun uncle, with a big heart and great sense of humor. What a life he had! I was lucky to grow up with such fond memories of him and my California cousins.
