Dear Scotty & Kids
I'm so sorry for all that has happened. Brian was a great person to me and the entire family. I'll always remember that he always kept us in line when we were kids, When we did something he didn't like he'd let us know about it. But whenever one of us had a problem or somebody was bothering us he would step in and protect and help us. I'll really miss you Brian and I only wish we would of saw more of each other. One of these days we will all be together again and u can tease and joke around with us again.
By for now, all my love Leenia

Brian,

We hardly saw each other but when we did you always made me laugh. I enjoyed all your stories; you got quiet a collection of them. You will be missed. May tomorrow be a better day for you. Much Respect.
Your Cousin,
Phrankie G.

I can not express the words enough that I am sorry for the family's loss. My heart goes out to his family and to the community. He will be greatly missed by all. I am Bobby and Nicole Ortega's Aunt and shared many times with Brian and his family at my nephew and niece's house. There will be a void there and the community as well. Think of all the good he has done for all to keep our streets safe, something we take for granted. I am sorry I can not attend the funeral, but I wanted the family to know I am thinking of them at this time.

My deepest sympathy for your loss,
