Charlie was was a wonderful asset to the Humanist Society of Santa Barbara. Despite the distance from Nipomo to SB he frequently made the drive and was always interested in the topic at hand. He last attended the Winter Solstice Party in December. He will be missed as a real original.

Charlie was such an inspiration to at-risk youth and adults interested in children. He was kind-hearted and devoted. The youth of San Luis Obispo have suffered a loss.

It was great to learn CASA with you.

We're so sorry to hear this news. Charlie was a warm and welcoming presence at our UU Fellowship in San Luis Obispo, and we will miss him.

Charlie Archibald was one of my best friends in the whole world. He had naming ceremonies for both of my sons in 1989 and 1991. He married my wife and I in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 10, 1982. Being both a Unitarian and a Humanist, he expressed my beliefs as close to what I believe as any other person could express my thoughts.
