From Craig (Stan's eldest son) and wife Ellen
An arduous year. But also one filled with the joy of knowing that he came to know the Lord before he passed. Stan, my father in law, was a complex man, a powerful man, a yearning man, a man who's passion for what he believed was right never wavered. However, despite his worldly-defined success a couple of years ago he shared with Craig and I that something was missing and began questioning the meaning of his success. I remembering him saying, "There has to be something more than this!" It is so very evident now that God's hand was on this man. The Lord strategically placed select people in his life such Ann Tran and Pastor Robert Bennett to mentor him and answer the "tough" questions. We thank the Lord for these appointments. Although it was difficult to watch him struggle this past year the blessing was the opportunity to get to know him more intimately his vulnerabilities, doubts, and regrets exposed. We were blessed to finally know this amazing man on a deeper more genuine level. Although his faith was young and questioning, it was faith none the less. A true answer to our years of prayer. God please accept this young Christian into heaven. We will see you soon

I had the opportunity to work with Stan on the successful sale of CAL-AIR. Not only did I find him to be very smart and engaging; I also found him to have the best sense of humor.

Dear Stan - Our years together at SLO Hi were ones my twin brother Dick and I will always remember fondly. You had that crazy sense of humor, willingness to try anything, and a can-do attitude that we farm boys really appreciated. Your Mom and Dad were always so welcoming at your house and we were blown away when you got to take your Dad's 1956 Chevy hardtop out for a "cruze" downtown. Happy trails old friend, you will be missed. God bless Jean and your family in this time of sorrow.
