I have known Elizabeth since I was 12 years old, since Betsy and I were in junior high. She was like a second mother to me when I was young. Betsy and I were quite a pair, but Elizabeth was always kind and generous. I NEVER saw her mad, in fact, I rarely saw her frown. She was one of the happiest people I ever met. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Elizabeth was always like the energizer bunny. We live on Salisbury and were always meeting her at the mailbox. We talked real estate quite a bit and enjoyed her stories about her condo in Utah. We will truly miss her. What a wonderful woman.

Elizabeth will always be one of my most favorite women I have ever known! She had a spunk like no other. It makes me smile thinking about all the wonderful memories I have had with her. Loved serving as her Counselor in Relief Society. She taught me what true faith was. Loved being her neighbor when I was in my 20s and she in her 70s. I considered her one of my best friends. I always felt so comfortable and welcome in her home. Heaven got a "good one" when she left this earth. Love you Elizabeth. You have influenced my life for the better.

Grandma was the best! Always smiling and enjoying life, even when things weren't going great. She has a strong spirit about her and was a great example to me. I love her and will greatly miss having her in Salt Lake City with us.

Elizabeth was a wonderful next door neighbor. When my husband traveled she wanted to run a string from my side door to her kitchen window with a bell at her end. She said if I was scared or heard a noise to pull the string and she would call me and check to see if there was a problem. She will be missed by my husband and I.

It has been a great joy to serve with Elizabeth and to be enriched by her zest for her family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She will always have a special place in my heart and memories for her loving attitude, generosity and joy. What a graduation party must be going on in Heaven. Janice Wallwork, San Luis Obispo

Elizabeth was a delightful hostess here at Church Building Hosting! Her love for life and her missionary spirit were contagious. She touched all those she visited as well as the sweet people she served with. We are sure she continues to bring smiles and delight to others on the other side. A radiant spirit!

To Elizabeth's family and friends: our condolences. Elizabeth, Sister Pierson, Grandma - names we called her. She was all 3 to me. A dear friend, a wonderful grandmother and truly my spiritual sister. I love her dearly and will miss her much. Elizabeth has touched many, many hearts; and I am so thankful she was in my life, as she showed me strength, love and fun. Liz and Bryan, thank you for being our friends and introducing your grandma to our family. She will very truly be missed.

We send our condolences at this time of sorrow. We wish we could have met her as she sounded like a wonderful person.

Elizabeth's energy and enthusiasm defined "young at heart". I chatted with her at church a few months ago when she was visiting San Luis Obispo, and she was her usual bubbly self, so I was surprised to hear of her passing. I guess there are some people, like Elizabeth, one expects to go on forever. Of course, that is true - just in a different sphere. She was a special lady who was a friend to everyone and an example of serving others joyfully. I was blessed to know her.
