I can remember so much about my Grandpa Wonder. He had such a lively personality; truly a man of many blessings. He was one who set such profound examples in my life, in so many ways. I remember when he would tell me stories of his childhood. Like the time when he put cinder blocks on the pedals of his car so he could drive at the age of eight! He really knew how to tell his stories, and with such enthusiasm. It always amazed me how he would remember things so clearly! I remember the contentment I felt just to be around Grandpa, from the times as a child walking down the seashore as he would teach me to find the perfect seashells, to my weekend visits as an adult. I’ll never forget how he loved and treated Grandma, as “being the most beautiful woman in the world.” The love that was shown through his life and to the world around him was simply incredible. His caring attitude, patient demeanor, sense of humor and loving ways are qualities I will carry on for a lifetime to come. I love you grandpa and I will miss you.

My Grandpa was and is the most respected person I have ever known. He had the most loving, gentle, humurous, and non judgemental personality. He had a way of making everyone feel as if they were part of our family, even if they were only the gas station attentdant! He gave out so much unconditional love, that after only a few moments in his presence, you felt a sort of calm serenity come over you. He was definitly the foundation to our loving/humorous family. We love you Grandpa Jack!!!!!

When I think about Grandpa, the most prevalent memory that comes to mind is the way he would always grab me, hug me, kiss me and enthusiastically tell me, "I love my girl." He was so gentle and patient, and I believe that the strength of his character made a lasting impact on everyone he met. I love telling people about how special my grandpa was and I feel so proud and blessed to have known him.

Jack Wonder, my dear grandpa, was a tremendous exemple of love and kindness and generousity. He truly loved people and he enjoyed helping others. He never held a grudge. And he was always looking out for others, making sure their needs were met. His love and warmth is still felt in his family today. We all love each other so much, and whenever we get together we truly enjoy one another. One of my grandpa's lasting legacies is his sense of humor. He loved to tease us and he loved to tell jokes. Today, whenever we gather as a family, there is always so much joy and laughter. I feel like there is a little bit of Grandpa in each of us. How blessed we are to have had the lasting influence of such a wonderful man. He laid the foundation of love and joy for this family. May we continue to build on that foundation in our own families.

I am delighted to have had an opportunity to meet Grandpa Wonder. Although, I didn’t get to know him as much as I would have liked, I am glad for the time we did have together. I am thrilled to have had him welcome me into the family with open arms. I will never forget his kindness and wonderful sense of humor.

Growing up, I've always had to sit in the car and wait for such a long drive to finally come up and visit my grandpa. But even when I was at my youngest and most preoccupied state of childhood, I always looked forward to seeing my Grandpa Wonder. Even without a house full of toys and games, there was something about the mere presence of my Grandpa that just made me want to stay forever. Looking back, I can easily see that it was his endearing love that is so rare in people today. I will miss him and I will never forget the many lessons he has taught me about the human spirit.

My Grandpa was the kindest, friendliest, most loving person I have ever known. As a child, I was able to spend lots of time with my grandparents, but when he moved to Cambria, it was more difficult to see him, specially when I started a family of my own. I wasn't able to be with him as much as I would of like to. I am sad that my children didn't get to know him and spend time with him. I believe he brightened and made a difference in everyone's life that he touched. I'll never forget one of his little sayings when he was putting jelly on my toast, "This is the egg that marmalade". I miss him and love him dearly.

My father was the most loving influence in my life. I miss his wit & humor. He was the kindest, most gentle man I have ever known, and the most devoted to his family. He never met a stranger and was a great friend to everyone he met. He is greatly missed by all his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his wife, and all who had the good fortune to know him.

In loving memory of my Grandfather, the greatest man I have ever known. A gentle and warm soul who gave his love to all unconditionally. May your spirit live on through all of us and may we all live by your example.
