Oh My, I am so saddened to see that Frank has passed away. I recently had an experience that brought back fond memories of Frank. This recent experience is the reason that I googled his business to see how Frank was doing, I am so saddened to see the news. I worked for Frank 9 years ago in an accounting contract capacity and during that time I mentioned that I was concerned about how dry my property was during the summer months and how concerned I was about fire. I was new to the area at the time in Atascadero. Frank gave me a fire extinguisher and also made sure that I knew how to use it. He took me out front of his and Diane's business and had me pull the tap on an extinguisher and blow it out. I took the extinguisher (refilled) home and with much appreciation placed it in a convenient location. Recently I had a situation where if I hadn't had that extinguisher I am certain that I would have suffered a very severe fire loss. The fact that I knew how to use the extinguisher was invaluable. I was so shaken when I needed it but I remembered Franks words and exactly what to do and this was 9 years later. Thank You so so much Frank for your generosity and unselfish sincere care for the safety concerns of others. Frank never charged me for the fire extinguisher, he gave it to me because I was an employee and I guess he appreciated my work or was just kind and generous and I sure do appreciate his work and sincere concerns for his fellow man. While I was working for Frank and Diane they visited Mexico and returned with gifts for some of us. Diane gave me a beautiful silver beaded necklace. I still enjoy it. Thank you Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Erik and I'm certain that you and Frank are very proud of him; you have every reason to be. I remember Christian also, he was still very little and liked to play Pokee Man (sp?). My best to all of you and my sincere condolences. Frank was a wonderful man.

You build two things while you are here on Earth that you can take with you to Heaven. Your character and your relationships. Yesterday at Frank's Memorial family and friends gathered to remember this man who impacted the lives of so many. He was a man of his word and truely cared for so many. If you needed something Frank was always there to lend a helping hand. If you needed something done Frank could get it done. He raised two wonderful boys who truely got it right yesterday in their speechs. Frank lived a life that mattered. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time of sorrow. He is in a better place now waiting for us all to join him. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.

To Diana from your Minnesota cousin. At certain times, even the Morticians are sad, and this certainly is one of them...
What a fine & hospitable gentleman you married, Diana. May time heal the sorrow you now share in Frank's passing and soon bring comfort & consolation to you & yours. He is one for the ages and to never forget.

Frank, the CAFSA board is really going to miss you. Especially the train whistle everytme your phone rang. A welcomed and humorous break to life's problems.
Thanks for all the correct pronunciations of the German towns I needed to visit and where the best beer and brats were to be found. Wish I could pronounce them with the same gusto and love for life like you could. Your loving kindness will be missed but never forgotten. We all love ya' big guy.
