i met Henry when he and his spouse transferred from Cambria American Legion Post 432 into San Luis Obispo Post 66 when I was the Commander of Post 66 in 2002/2003. They came regularly to our BBQs and I got to know him and found out he was also a member of BPOE 322 as am I. This year I was elected Exalted Ruler of 322 and though saddened when he died it was my Honor to be asked to officiate at his graveside services. He was a loyal American who served his country when asked and was a loyal Elk for many years. We will miss him. He will be remembered whenever the eleven o clock toast is given at the Elks. Sleep my Brother, and Peace be with You!

Hi, Dad, The funeral service was beautiful (I hope you were hanging around watching!) Your grandson, Henry, is a real sweetie; glad I got to meet him! I don't think everyone knows about this Guest Book yet, but I will try to remind them. I miss you more each day...but I guess that is to be expected....

Hi, Dad,
It has been a tough week. I hope you are happy - seeing Kathryn, your Mom and Dad and your sister, Jean again. I will have this space to talk with you now - (and hope others will use it too.) Hugs-
