Thank you, Mrs. Stafford.

We are deeply indebted to Jean as she taught our son to read when she first opened her school. She was a good friend having known her through AAUW and events at the Community Church. We will miss her.

What a special person Jean was in my life. She insisted I learn to play bridge after my Mother passed away and we shared so many laughs on our Monday bridge games together. I not only learned bridge but found a very special person in my life. Mondays will never be the same for me and I will miss her being in my life. RIP dear friend.

Jean is so easy to miss. She and I shared so many laughs and meaningful conversations. She always listened intently and gave her honest opinion. My life is enriched thanks to her and I owe her so much.

My husband & I were privileged to be across the street neighbors of Bob & Jean when they first moved to Atas. We met after Jean backed into our car. What a great couple they were. One of our fondest memories is of Bob & Jean singing "It's a small world" on our porch Christmas morning. Actually Tom worked with Bob while they built their home. Jean was a very caring and loving person. She has been on my mind lately and now I know why. Love you Bob and Jean. You are together again! Tom & BJ Hoover, Jackson, CA

Jean gave three of my children an unparalleled start with her talents. She was a great inspiration!
