Thank you to everyone who has given their condolences about my mother's passing, and to those who are helping our family during this difficult time. I'd especially like to thank Lauri O'Neill (Marlene's niece), who has been a source of strength, guidance, and support over the past several weeks. She and her immediate family have been wonderful--thank you, Al, Robbie, Michael, Erin, Jeffrey, and Dan. I'd also like to thank Wilshire Hospice for their amazing staff, program, and facility. My mom's final days would have been much more difficult for her and her family without their services.

Marlene was quite amazing matriarch & left a large legacy. My deepest condolences to the extensive Fraser, Leek, Simer (Picklesimer), O'Neill families, plus their numerous cousins. I know all who loved her are very very sad right now; even lost. Please know that time really does help to ease the sorrow. BUT MOST OF ALL... Be Kind to one another!!! Share and support each other through the rollercoaster of your tears & joy. Every kindness matters, you all matter. Rest in Peace, Marlene. Please give Caban a hug for me, when you two greet each other on the other side. All my love, forever and always. You will be greatly missed.

While I never met Marlene I know that she was a generous person. Every year that I asked for a donation of a plant basket for the Women's Shelter Benefit Show, she agreed! I have a feeling she was a great lady in other ways too. My condolences to her family.
