Never forgotten! So sad! But it has been so good to have known you!!!
How important(!) to hear and read from so many people, who cherished your work, your friendship, that you had a fulfilling life with your beautiful wife Martha...children and grandchildren.
Would have liked to meet again on this side, ...with you and your loved ones!
Good bye and so long!

I remember my dad John T. Mahnke talked of him when he got home from his practice.

Ralph. My very funny friend. You will be missed along with your humorous view of this crazy world. I and Maggie thank you for bringing our Son Justin into our lives. He is 25 now with two beautiful children. Your focus on the needs of others has given many of us a better life. Thank you my Friend. Marc Goldberg

Martha,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. I always enjoyed seeing the two of you at American Legion when I visited my parents. Fondly, Lori Herrera Hurley

I was Ralph's first OB delivery in his private practice here in SLO, and his first delivery at Sierra Vista Hospital. It was 52 years ago when I went to him (at 9 months pg) sight unseen, and I never had any regrets! He knew I had very quick deliveries, and he would stop and call me while driving up the Coast with his family, to see if he needed to rush back to SLO. I saw him first in his old original office on Garden Street, and of course followed him to the Peach Street office. My husband and that original son and the two more sons he delivered, plus our daughter, were all his patients.. I last saw him just after he retired, when he gave me a big hug. Early on he told me his goal was to deliver babies and see them through adulthood. He was an amazing doctor and human being, and I send my heartfelt condolences to his family.

I will always remember Dr. Ralph Kettlekamp as a warm hearted, fun loving, kind, delight-filled man who loved Martha dearly and served his patients and his community as best he could. I was grateful to have been a tiny part of his journey in life and blessed to have been one of those patients (he was a wonderful physician). Prayers from my heart to Martha and his family.

I worked and shared call with Ralph for many years. Excellent diagnostician. He was also one of the funniest men I've even known. He'll be missed.

Still remember lying on a table in his office, Ralph telling jokes while doing my vasectomy...had me in stitches! The world is poorer w/o his light and laughter.
