Ruth,

You will be truly missed

As I look back on those days and years you were among us, I sometimes think of you playing a piano

You were so confident and passionate, when you played

I know through Jesus, you have been cured of pain, and are spending eternity with The Lord

Love,
Matthew

Hi mom... I know somehow you are out there. I'm thinking of you tonight and wanted to say so. I decided to keep this guestbook open, because I know how much the younger generation will continue to communicate this way... Maybe in years to come your great- grandchildren will visit this site and learn how precious you were to their family. They are so beautiful, and growing by leaps and bounds every day. You would be so proud of your three great-granddaughters and your two great-grandsons. Already we can see how your blood flows in their veins. Love you so much, Debra

This is a bittersweet day, remembering Birthday's past; a lifetime of celebrating with your dear Mother, and yet the joy of knowing her long goodbye is over and she is finally HOME! I remember Ruth lovingly; so grateful for the years she spent in our family bringing her special gifts of contagious love and laughter. I treasure her memory.

It is so wonderful to read back over what everyone has written. Thank you all so much for sharing your thoughts and memories. In looking over some pictures, I wanted to include this very sweet one of mom with Lisa back on my birthday last year. --So many special days spent with her like this! I love you mom and am so grateful we got so much time to say good-bye.

Our dear Grandma Ruth will be deeply missed! She was such a blessing to us, with an unmatched zest for life and a great love for her faith and family. I am beyond grateful to have had her in my life. Some of my best childhood memories were made as she shared her world with us when we visited Bakersfield every summer. Her beautiful legacy will live on as we strive to imitate her constant joyfulness and her enthusiasm for all the things that meant the most to her.

Grandma, thank you for teaching us to love big and live big. We will always remember you.

Dear Ruth, It seems impossible that you are really gone. No more hurting,no more loneliness, and no more wondering. After all these years of thinking about heaven, now are experiencing it. We always had such good times with your family whenever we descended ( all seven of us ) on you. You took it in stride, cooked wonderful meals, and we had time for fun, joking, and to reminisce as we did up the dishes. You always had time for a few piano duets, and that was the highlight for me. We would share the kids noteworthy achievements and laugh at their latest stunts. We will miss you but know you'd never choose to return to this old world. Thanks for being a loving big sis, and for all the priceless memories.
Love forever, Doris
