I met Sharon in 2008 when I joined the Five Cities Newcomers Club. She was an active participant in the monthly Ladies who Lunch group. I always enjoyed talking with her. She was always friendly and interested in my life. Most important she introduced me to Bus Tours on the Central Coast. We went on a few together and had so much fun.I will miss seeing Sharon at Newcomer lunheons.

I've known Sharon for many years, but we became closer pals when on February 15,20??, I sent an e-mail to my brother's three children saying that I was thinking of him on his birthday, as he passed away in 2001. Well, Sharon received that e-mail and I'll never know why, as I didn't send it to her, but come to find out, Sharon was born on the same day and year as my brother. So, then she became my brother's birthday replacement and to this day, I still marvel how that happened. Divine intervention, I'm thinking. I shall miss dear, sweet Sharon. Please accept my most sincere sympathy.

Sharon was a model of courage and tenacity. She was a loyal and dedicated member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees' San Luis Obispo Chapter 1028. She came to meetings at a point in her illness when most of us wouldn't get out of bed. She was full of smiles. We will miss you, Sharon.

Sharon was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation Branch 291 of St. Patrick's Church in Arroyo Grande for many years and that is how I first met her. She also belonged to the NARFE Branch 1028 and we spent time at luncheon meetings together with other members. Will miss her. God's blessings to the family.

Sharon was a truly sweet soul...one of the kindest and nicest people I have ever met. She worked on several Newcomers' Club boards for many years and could be counted on to help whenever and however she was needed. She was a beloved member of the Tuesday Shell Beach and the Thursday Beach Walking groups and will be terribly missed by both groups. She was always cheerful, positive and up-beat even as she battled through her worst health problems. I never heard her say a negative or unkind thing about anyone. She will be remembered with love.
