I am at a loss for adequate words to express my sadness. I had the opportunity of knowing your mom and I know heaven just received one of the most special angels. You are a reflection of your mom in the way your treat people with respect and empathy. Not to mention the way you make each person feel loved. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Mom,
In reflecting on your life and our time as a growing family, what always stands out to me was your selfless dedication to us children - your sacrifice in putting us first, doing your best to provide us with all the things that make life full during those stages of "growing up." You were always there for me whether it was laundering my baseball uniform on short notice or ironing my school clothes to "exacting specifications" on Sunday night! I know that I was more than a "handful" and marvel at how you dealt with it all and still lived to be 94! You were a strong lady who persevered thru all the days of your life. Thank you for your love Mom, and the fondest of memories while growing up.

Love,
Edwin Jr.

Dearest Nana,
I always thought you were the coolest Nana around. You had a lovely accent and had all of these funny sayings and always had good advice. I was so excited when it was time for you and Vicki to visit about once a Month. I remember you showing me how to knit and how you were usually working on an afghan for someone.
I miss you everyday but I promise Nana that I will never forget your spirit and I will go on to see where you have traveled. I love you so much Nana and I am so grateful I got to spend the last four years with you.

Heaven is an even better place because my long and wonderful friend Vivian is now there, and those of us who were touch by her here on earth are better people because of her love and loyalty. She will always have a special place in my heart and I always considered her to be another Mom!

You were an amazing Nana and Great Nana. Nobody will ever be able to make a cup of tea the way you did. I thank you for all the spunk and wittiness you injected into our gene pool and thank you always for loving me and family. Lastly, thank you again for knitting me my UNLV blanket that I have kept to this day. Nothing shows more love than the time and effort you put into making that for me over 25 yrs ago.

My dear Nana ... I will always have memories of your wise sayings and quick wit. Always an inspiration of fortitude and strength, you always set us straight and guided us. We were glad you shared your long life with us, and your legacy will continue with our family of head strong, hard working, intelligent people. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

My dearest Mom, I love you and miss you so much and always will! You were my Mother, friend and "side-kick" since Dad passed away. You will be alive in my memory forever. The Lord is taking care of you now and I look forward to the day we will be together again. You led an amazing and adventurous life and cared deeply for your family. God bless you my dearest Mom! Love,Vicki.
