I met Art in the graduate school for chemistry at RPI in 1964 or so. We were both fly fishermen and spent a good bit of time walking to remote ponds in the Adirondacks fishing for Brooktrout. We fished the Little Hoosic as well. Art was a good friend to me with always a kind word and something interesting to talk about. I think we both finished up at RPI in 1967 or thereabouts and stayed in touch for years after RPI. I'm terribly sorry to hear this news. Warmest regards and best wishes to Barbara and family.

Although I have not seen Art since our graduation from Burr and Burton Seminary (1956), I remember his unassuming manner... and his gentle spirit. What a wonderful life of giving...to his family and society. My sincere sympathy to his loved ones.
