Barb I was just talking about the Victory Girls get togethers just the other day & how I lost touch with you two the last few years. Went on line today again with both your names and was so saddened to find this. Don loved when he finally got to be a part of the festivities every year. He was so much fun with Tinkerbell...making our grilled pizzas...telling us his stories . The first memory I have of Don is when I stopped by and he had to show off his train setup he had running from room to room upstairs in the house. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers & I miss you.

I am sorry for your loss Aunt Reba, Krista, Kimberly.Uncle Don was a wonderful man. I loved his sense of humor. He was always cheerful and positive. He loved family and to share stories about our heritage. He was talented in many ways. I feel blessed to have had him for my uncle. God bless you and comfort you.

There are so many wonderful memories of Don at church, but my fondest memories are when we were neighbors in Galway. when we 1st moved in and were working on the house, Don generously volunteered to help with our new roof. I came outside at one point and he had our young sons up on the roof working alongside him. I was not too happy, but he just shouted down..."they have to learn how to do a roof sometime."
The boys were amazed when he tried to remove a stump from his front yard with the tractor, and the chain came loose and went flying towards the cab. Angels were watching over him for sure!
What a testimony to God's love, for Don loved everyone well, and made sure they knew they were loved.
So glad Don is with Jesus and at rest.
He was always ready to have a chat, to share some of his wisdom, and silly jokes.

Don was such good person. A
good Samaritan, neighbor, teacher and friend. We will never forget his sense of humor. We enjoyed working with him and having him as a neighbor. The world has lost a bright light.
