The story I did not share at the service today is a memory from probably 1980s, when Audrey & I were members of Faith Meets Life SS class. She talked about being a young wife, mother homemaker, who was very earnest about doing everything correctly. She and another young woman friend worked together to transform a ketchup bottle into a vase, with contact paper. She recalled that this friend and she made a pact, to always tell one another, if the other one did something "tacky." Audrey was able to share personal growth stories, with humor but also with kindness and patience for her younger self. I loved and appreciated her very much. I learned from her example. Sending love and light to you all, as you navigate your lives without her physical presence.

Rest in peace,Audrey. Thanks for weekly breakfast at your house for six years while I served As Catholic Campus Minister at Georgia Southern. It was a time of creative ideas, corn beef hash and boasting about your kids. Loved every minute. Sympathy, prayer and love to you all.
