Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Walters Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and some of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Cameron Scott Walters US Navy Airman.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families, friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

I had a dream the night after my son left this world. In the dream, I heard a voice speak to me and when I heard the voice, I knew it was God himself. This is what he said:
In these times, the world I have created has become a dark place. The cries and suffering of my people are greater than ever before. My army of Angels is struggling to answer all of their prayers.
So therefore, I need a new Angel and I cannot wait any longer.
I need an Angel with extraordinary intelligence.
I need an Angel with extraordinary strength, speed and agility.
Last, but most importantly, as your son has shown in his short time on earth, I need an Angel that will care more for others than he does for himself.
You shall have strength knowing that I have given your son a new body. His new body will be strong enough to move mountains. He shall also have wings that will carry him faster than the speed of light.
You shall have peace and comfort knowing that you gave the world this precious, but mighty gift.
I know you loved your son more than life itself, but I now need him more than you do.
Therefore, this is what I have told your son:
Go now Mighty Angel and help my children, for they have waited much too long.
And, so it shall be said, The glory is mine and shall be shared with you now and forever more, Amen.

To the Entire Family of Cameron
How can I person even begin to express the sadness I feel for the loss of your son. I never met him but know that my tears are for you during this time . Your son exemplified what a true leader and hero is. He served our country in which your family can be truly proud . I pray you will feel some soft of comfort in knowing that in such a incredibly difficult time . Be proud and know that his act of heroism and sacrifice will never ever be forgotten.

I send my condolences and prayers to this young man's family. This was such a tragic thing to happen to Cameron. Having lost a son at 8 years of age I questioned why things happen to someone so young and innocent. Years later I learned not to question God but to accept it as it was meant to be. We will never ever understand the reasons. I pray that you find comfort in knowing Cameron is with Jesus now.

There are no words for a loss of your child. My prayers are with this great military family. Thank you for your service Cameron Scott Walters! We must never forget! I can imagine no more rewarding a career, and any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think I can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: I served in the United States Navy.
