to the LeMay family,

May the souls of Bernie and Kay LeMay rest in peace for their work on Earth is complete.
Well done, my good and faithful servants... Enter into the joy of the Lord. Matt25:21

I was a teaching colleague of Bernie, beginning in the mid 1970's for about ten years at Shandin Hills Jr High. He was a mentor to me in many ways as I was beginning my lifetime career and he was "seasoned". I listened and tried to heed his fatherly advice. While he taught math and I science, there were many classroom procedures to share. I recall many after school sessions sitting at the same conference table grading papers and listening to his sage wisdom. I met Kay through Bernie. Both were so friendly and helpful, as they were life-long educators. Their combined years of contributions and professionalism to children and to the San Bernardino City Unified School District is monumental.
Sincerely,
