Dear Family of "Auntie Dorie",
I first met this amazing and wonderful woman when I moved to Sartell in 2003 and needed someone to walk my little doggie, Sadie during some of my workdays. Dorie was introduced to me by a neighbor whom I worked with and we became fast friends. She walked or let Sadie out on many occasions until I left Sartell in 2011. We stayed in touch after I left and moved to FL until I kept calling her this year and was unable to reach her - I knew she was ill and she shared with me in our last conversation in the spring that things didn't look good and then, I couldn't reach her....

She loved my dogs - not just mine, but I fostered many others and she delighted in meeting and being around those doggies too.! She was such a warm and loving and caring and fun woman - and all I had to do was say to Sadie, "Here comes Auntie Dorie" and Sadie would go crazy!! In fact, to this day, when I mention "Auntie Dorie" to Sadie - at the ripe age of almost 14, Sadie still wags her tail and looks for Auntie Dorie! We loved her and she is and will be missed by every single person that she met! Our deepest sympathy to the family...she certainly made a powerful and loving difference in our lives! Rita Rubin

Love you, auntie!
I thank you (and all of the family) for teaching me the value of family. You will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt and daughter.
I am so glad that Nelly had the chance to have met you and spend time with you. Her parents also reminded us of many fun memories they have of you.

I will always remember you and all of your love!
