Gilman, Minnesota
Oct. 26, 1952 ~ June 7, 2017
Memorial Services celebrating the life of Patricia A. Moulzolf, 64, of Gilman will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Trish passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta after a courageous year-long battle with cancer.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Trish was born to Joseph and Edith (Mohs) Kutzera on October 26, 1952 in St. Cloud. She had a happy childhood growing up in nearby Waite Park and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1971. She married David Moulzolf on June 30, 1978. They had a happy marriage which was made even better when Nicole was born in 1982. Once a mother, Trish knew she had found her life's calling. Although she appreciated her work outside the home, her true vocation was in tending to her home and family. This is where she found her greatest joy. She poured herself into motherhood, and sacrificed much, to be the best mother possible. Trish was a good friend to many and will be remembered for the beautiful way she cared for so many friends and family. She had greatly looked forward to retirement and was able to enjoy one good year before her diagnosis, spending time outdoors in her flower gardens, taking casino trips with Nicole and staying connected with friends on Facebook. Trish's will to live was unyielding; she had a tremendously huge heart that continued to fight until her very last breath. She will be forever missed!
Trish is survived by her daughter; Nicole of Gilman; brother, Chuck (Pat) Kutzera of St. Joseph; sister, Mary Lou (Don) Blommer of Anchorage, Alaska; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David in 1992; sisters, Jane Marie Kutzera and Joyce Lommel; brother, Joseph "Butch" Kutzera; mother-in-law, Ida Moulzolf; niece, Melissa Blommer; and two beloved dogs, Sandy and Rascal.
Trish's family would like to thank all those involved with Trish's care over the last year, especially Quiet Oaks Hospice for the loving care and compassion they provided during her final days.
Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice House.
