I came to know Greg at the College of St. Benedict. We shared a mutual love for North Dakota. Greg was a gentle, funny, good, kind and talented man. To see his photography and drawings is to encounter a sensitive and remarkable artist.

My prayers and condolences for Karla, Michael, Matthew, all the grandchildren and all of Greg's siblings and extended family. You will miss him as so many of us will.
My sympathy,

Sister Katherine Kraft, OSB

Becker Family,

I'm so saddened by Greg's passing.
I was a classmate at SMCHS with Him and also a friend. I remember His laugh, enjoyable nature, and maybe some pranks that happened.
Not that I was part of them.

Greg, old friend, I am very sad at your passing, although I am supposed to be happy that you went to your reward. Karla, your wonderous partner in marriage and life goes forward. I can only highlight things that we have shared since I became friends with you in third grade at St. Joe's as we all called it. Serving mass(latin and english), student councils, playing lots of baseball and softball, discussing the Civil War, The Cemetary, St. Vincent's and then moving on thru St. Anne's and SMCHS.....photojocks as we called ourselves, yearbooks, Scope magazine, Sr. Hugo, The Beatles, The Who and on we went. Many things have happened to us over the years and many things passed through, but we could always talk, email and finally, text. Your work for my band, Mere Image, gave us an image.....your photos and posters live on. There were all of those deep discussions over the years.....sure maybe they lead nowhere, but that's what exchanging ideas is all about.
Many condolences to your family, sons, daughters in law and grandchildren. I speak in the present because that is how I remember you and will continue to remember you.
Much love! Great man!

Donna and I are sad for the loss of a valuable friend. Greg's artistic work while at U Mary is legendary, he had the artful eye, and ability to create meaningful print, exciting photo's and publications that spoke to the core of the U of Mary. I will cherish his works..

May the family cherish his memory and many good deeds. Ernie and Donna Borr
