I miss John every time I think about singing. Thank you, John.

Done several shows with John, performing alongside him onstage and working with him as a volunteer behind the scenes at OBMT. He was always funny, friendly, committed to the project, and interesting to talk to. Though I didn't see him regularly throughout the year, his loss will be felt.

To the Patrias family,
Please accept my condolences and those of his music classmates at SCSU on the death of John.
John was always a wonderful conversationalist with a great sense of humor and great intellectual insight.
It was great to see him again on a couple of occasions in the past two years and learn that he continued his trumpet playing and shared his talents on the theatrical stage too.
He is missed by all of us.

I remember John fondly as one of our brightest and most talented graduates. It was students like John who made education a rewarding career.
