He was my 6th grade teacher. It was also his first teaching job. Everyone loved being in his class. The most kind, funny, friendly person. I am ever so grateful that he was a part of my life.

R.I.P Mr. Ellingson! One of the best teachers a young boy could have. Thank you for 6th grade at Wilson Elementary, you will be missed. Class of 1972.

I knew Larry as both a fellow teacher and a good friend. He always left everyone with a smile on their faces, as I'm sure he continued to do throughout his life. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to Larry's family and friends.
Larry was my 6th grade teacher at Wilson Elementary in 1971. He was the absolute best teacher I ever had. I remember his Imperial car and really enjoyed the music he played in class from time to time. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Chicago, and others.
He was a super cool guy and will be missed by us all.
Sincerely,
Gordy Pehrson
