Marcus was a very "gifted" human being! Not only was he our science teacher at SR High School, he was a photographer! He photographed our wedding pictures 51 years ago. "Blessings'

What a great picture of Mark with his obituary! Just a few more weeks to age 85! Mark would have enjoyed that party:). Mark's dedication, commitment, faithful friend attitude, and willingness to share his computer skills at Prince of Peace Lutheran School were absolutely unmatched, unexpected, but forever appreciated! His many times of staying up most of the night in order to restore a computer to a classroom, the school office, or the computer lab were mind-blowing! His willingness to search the city for the lowest cost new and used computer parts was uncanny. Office Depot and Computer Brainz, to name a few, totally associated him with Prince of Peace! Not only did Mark help out the school tremendously, but also many of the staff! The very computer I'm sending this message from was a re-build of Mark's! Always delivered with a broad smile and humble attitude.
I know Mark's family will miss him forever, but what a wonderful model and support he was to each and everyone of you. His amazing love for his family through all the good and difficult should and must make you all proud! His lessons last forever just as does his soul with our loving and merciful Lord - Mark's Savior! Praise be to God for this brilliant and kind man we now tell, "Rest in peace, thou good and faithful servant!"

He was a fantastic teacher. He taught me flight school early on in my high school career. I always remembered that and we'd "hash it over" when I would see him at church. He was the kind of teacher you wouldn't forget. Rest In Peace!!!
