Gordy passed away unexpectedly on April 4 at his home in Minnesota at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by parents Elmer and Matilda of Little Falls, MN. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Andrea; children Christian and Anne; siblings Robert, David, Paul and Mary; and many others he guided, mentored, inspired, challenged, and loved along the way.
Gordon will always be remembered for his love for family, his passion for championing the underdog, and his endless push against adversity for the greater good.

We just heard about your loss. We only talked to Gordon a couple times but liked him immediately. We were Elmer & Millie's neighbors and heard lots of stories about their children. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear that Gordy has passed away. I worked with him many years while he was at the University of Minnesota. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

I have a lot of great memories of my uncle. Probably my favorite is the time he convinced grandma that the amaryllis plant was called an armadillo!
