Beulah Ann Anderson (neé Peterson), 82
Broomfield, CO
Passed Away March 28, 2016
Beulah Ann Anderson (neé Peterson), age 82, of Broomfield, CO, passed away peacefully March 28, 2016, from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
Born and raised in St. Cloud, MN, she graduated from the University of MN with a degree in nursing. She married David Anderson in 1956, and they moved to El Paso, TX, then Huntsville, AL, and eventually settled in San Jose, CA. Following graduation, Ann pursued her career as a public health nurse with the Visiting Nurses Association, as well as with the Los Gatos Hospital as the Home Health Coordinator, retiring in 1986.
Ann and David relocated to the Denver area, where Ann continued her passions for quilting, cooking, and traveling the world with David. Her family was always a priority.
Ann's beloved husband of 56 years, David Anderson, and her sister, Shirley Odell, predecease her. She is survived by her brother, Scott Peterson, her children, Paul (Judy) Anderson, Susan (Jim) Decker, Mark (Tracy) Anderson, and Bruce (Jennifer) Anderson. In addition, 11 grandchildren, whom she adored, will carry on her legacy with love.
Ann never met an adventure she didn't embrace whole-heartedly. If you needed a "summa diddle", - a comforting cuddle - Ann was your woman. Generosity, love, and strength were Ann's hallmarks. We will miss her vibrant sense of fun.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the charity of your choice.
A celebration of Ann's life will be held at 4 p.m., May 21, 2016, at the Westin Westminster - Lake House, in Westminster, CO.
