Dear family of Jack, What can we say..... I will always treasure the memories I have of Jack, too many to mention. I served him many a Brandy coke while I was working at Ackies and the Corner Pub. His stories are something to be treasured, as was his friendship. He always held my hand when he said goodbye to me. I will miss him. I'm sure he is having a great time in heaven now with all the family and friends who have waited so long for him to come home.

My sincere sympathy to Jack's family. I met Jack about 10 years ago when he lived in Freeport and visited him many times there and later in Melrose. It was always the highlight of every fishing trip to stop in and visit Jack. He was always in a jovial mood and could entertain you for hours with hilarious stories that left your sides aching. He really should have been a stand up comedian. Every once in a while, a special friend enters your life that you will always remember and treasure. Jack definitely was one of those. Rest in peace Jack. I and many others will miss you.

Wow! An icon and role model from my past has passed away. I remember him coming to the farm to hook up our first phone after we had trenched in the line across the pasture using a hand plow. I'm thankful we didn't have hoop snakes on out property to drive him away. Of course, he returned many times after for repairs. Always pleasant and jovial. Kids have a way of sensing the good people and he was a good one. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Dave & Linda if you are reading this, my thoughts are with you as well as I know you loved Jack.
