Today was a Very Bad day to say the least.
>
> It was the day we lost William" Neale" Bellamy. Neale was one of the kindest
most honest and loving men I have ever had the honor of spending time with in my
life. He personified Moral Character. You never had to worry if Neale had your
back. Mr. Bellamy as he was called by the thousand's of students who's lives he
touched in so many ways, Respected him. When ever we were out in public you
would always hear these kid's, young adults and adult's call his name and it was
seldom if ever that he didn't remember them by name and say something heartfelt.
Talk about an ego builder for a kid or an adult for that matter. Neale Loved
life and shared it with the Love of his life Meg, she was his life's companion
in all things. They traveled the wide world over learning about foreign lands
and most of all new cooking skills while making new international friends. Then
brought those wonderful culinary finds back to the Bellamy kitchen to share with
seemingly a never ending flow of friends. Who would reap the rewards. When the
pain of his passing starts to ebb, and it will in time. We will look back with
fondness and love of the man who was always ready to help a friend. Seeing him
working over his hand made brick oven in the back yard. Glass of wine in hand
making sure all those gathered at their warm and hospitable kitchen were
content. While watching Meg adding the final touches to the evenings feast. What
a wonderful gift we were able to share.
> His bright shinning star of course was Grace He was so very proud of her as a
young women and a fine student with the gift of dance. His eye's would light up
when he talked of her. He was so happy they went on Their 50yh Wedding
Anniversary trip and took The kids along. Neale's son John and his wife Robin
will now carry on the gift of warmth and hospitality with their caring and
nurturing of the family and their friends. Be sad if you must but remember,
Neale is reunited with his Mom and Dad and Aunt Becky along with old pals like Bishop Al,
Leroy and Pat and countless others. It won't take long to get a party going.
Leave it to Neale.

Meg and family, there are no words and no place to begin or go. We are speechless and saddened hearing of Neale's death. May God's strength be with all of us while we deal with this loss in the coming days. We are here for you. We'll see you soon.
