My sons Mason and Tyler were both current students of hers at Karshner and she really made a good impact on our whole families life. We will always remember her.

I still in shock as I learned of her passing yesterday January 21st. I was so so lucky to have been her student at Dimmitt Middle school and then Renton High school. Its no contest that she was my favorite teacher. As a cashier at Fred Meyers I was lucky enough to see her regularly. She was so sad to leave RHS and so happy to be moving on in her career to teach the children in the Puyallup school district. I was so lucky to of had her as my teacher and as a friend... One thing I know is there wasnt a time she never left me feeling inspired. What a beautiful soul. Heaven just got brighter with her there! Siyahamb' ekukhanyen' kwenkhos'.

Words cannot express how much this world is going to miss this amazing woman. She hands down has always been the teacher that comes to mind when I think about someone making a difference & impacting lives. The life lessons she taught & her natural ability to actually see people and do whatever was necessary was amazing! She was the very definition of tough love. She had the biggest heart and was always there for everyone.

I will always feel so fortunate to have had Lizabeth as a friend & mentor beginning in my first year of teaching. She left us with so many vibrant memories. While we continue to try to wrap our minds around the fact that she is gone, we also continue to notice more and more of her impact. My husband and I realized that we both recently handed out pieces to our choirs that we got from her. We will miss her so much, yet she will continue to inspire us.
