I worked with Bob at Alpha Cine for several years in the 70's. He was a guest at my wedding 45 years ago, and generously gave us one of his glass vases as a wedding gift. We still have it proudly displayed in our living room. I always thought of Bob as a very kind person and all-around good guy. My condolences to his family.

Along with being funny, talented and bright, Bob was a mensch, who stood by his family and friends through thick and thin - always ready to give a hug or make one smile. One of the most wonderful trips we ever took was to Spain with Bob and Kathy. Wandering through Barcelona from Gaudi to Gaudi and from one fabulous tapas restaurant to the next. I will never forget (but will not recount) our hysterical lunch at the Thirteen Coins that caused the person making salads on other side of the counter to badly slice his own hand. I have always cherished the blown glass vases (one, done with Kathy) depicts us and our dog)and I will continue to do so. I will miss you, Bob.

I loved hearing of such a passionate and compassionate person....am not surprised. Coincidentally, yesterday I just received my first beautiful 13" vase made by
him . It is so lovely, graceful and eloquently displaying an arresting display of nuanced amber drapery, quite in an older reverence of past Tiffany works. Seeing this, i can only imagine the grace, poise and rare tastes of all things imbued in him....it is so evident in this very piece. My wishes for peace to him and all that he stood for.
